ACLS Prep Course: Adult ECG

This new Online Course is for healthcare providers needing basic rhythm recognition skills, including those preparing for ACLS. This courseteaches: basic rhythm understanding, he relationship between the ECG strip and heart impulses, common arrhythmias, identifying and distinguishing various arrhythmias. PALS Prep Course: Pediatric ECG

For healthcare providers needing basic pediatric rhythm recognition skills, including those preparing for PALS or PEARS training. This course teaches basic pediatric rhythm understanding, the relationship between the ECG and the heart impulses, common pediatric arrhythmias, and identifying and distinguishing various pediatric arrhythmias. Challenge ACLS Renewal

If your AHA ACLS card is current and you feel that you know the material and don't need a review, effective 12/12/08 AHA says you can challenge the ACLS Renewal course by taking the written test and coming in and doing the megacodes. You will receive your American Heart Association ACLS card the same day. Please note that this option is only open to students with current AHA ACLS cards and if you do not pass either the megacodes or the written examination on the first try there is no remediation. You will then have to register for the full ACLS Recert course and pay the applicable fees (there will be no credit issued for failed course).
