General Overview

This workbook is the required student text for the instructor-led, classroom-based Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course, which teaches participants critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. This course also teaches adult CPR AED. Workbook is also useful as a post-course reference book. Manual is based on the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECC.
