TRAINING MANUAL
NIHE Policy & Training Manual (Required)
(Required for ALL Instructors, Training Sites, Training Programs & Independent Instructors)
ALL instructors and affiliated entities aligned with the National Institute for Healthcare Education (NIHE) are required to review and comply with the policies outlined in the NIHE Policy & Training Manual.
This manual contains the official policies and procedures governing:

Instructor responsibilities and compliance requirements

Training Site, Training Program, and Independent Instructor obligations

AHA course administration and documentation standards

Course monitoring, site reviews, and remediation processes

Issuance of AHA course completion cards

Continuing Education (CE) certificate restrictions

Dispute resolution, disciplinary action, and enforcement policies
Failure to follow NIHE and American Heart Association (AHA) policies may result in suspension or revocation of instructor, Training Site, Training Program, or Independent Instructor affiliation.
This document supersedes all prior versions of the NIHE Policy & Training Manual. Instructors are responsible for reviewing updates when posted.

ALL instructors must acknowledge that they have reviewed and agree to comply with the NIHE Policy & Training Manual before purchasing instructor courses or conducting AHA training under NIHE affiliation.
