ACLS Provider-This is the full 2 day Provider course and is open to all students: new, expired, and renewals.  If you do not work in an area where you frequently participate in code situations this is the course for you even if your card is not expired yet.  This course covers the why as well as, the what to do when your patient has arrested or is showing signs of imminently arresting.  This course also, includes a review of how to identify the ECGs for the common arrhythmias covered in ACLS.  If you need to learn to identify these ECGs we have two courses available to help you:  ECG For Everyone, a video based course and a course called ACLS Prep:  How to Read Adult ECG that you can take online prior to attending this course.   Please see our Homestudy CE page to purchase these courses.    You must have a current AHA ACLS Provider manual at this class.  Class begins at 8:30 a.m. at all locations.

ACLS Update/Renewal-This course is open to all students with a current ACLS card.  This class consists of a review of the new ACLS Guidelines and limited practice for the ACLS Skills.  You are expected to be able to identify the ECG for the common arrhythmias such as heart blocks and different atrial tachycardias.

ACLS Online with Skills Check- This is the American Heart Association ACLS Heartcode-This is the AHA course that is done online and then followed by a mandatory Skill Check.  You will receive access to an eBook version of the AHA ACLS Provider manual and the Part 1 of the ACLS Heartcode which is 10 ACLS scenarios done on your computer.    After successful completion of the online portion you MUST attend a Skill Check session which will be scheduled when you purchase your course on our website.  All Skill Checks begin at 12:30 p.m. on the date you select.  You are expected to come to the Skill Check prepared to demonstrate BLS skills as well as function as a team leader in at least two ACLS megacodes.  You must be able to identify the ECGs for the common arrhythmias including heart blocks.  If you need to learn to identify these ECGs we have a course Prep:  How to Read Adult ECG that you can take online prior to attending this course.  If you are not able to demonstrate these skills without remediation or coaching you will not receive your AHA ACLS card.  You will need to reschedule for another Skill Check and pay a $50 rescheduling fee.
