AHA Instructor Training Must NOW Be Done In-Person — NO MORE VIRTUAL TRAINING

Instructor classes per AHA regulations allowed anywhere in the U.S. If you are seeing an Instructor class offered virtually or online please report it to complianceadmin@heart.org.

AHA prides itself on being the gold standard of resuscitation training and they do not allow online instructor courses.

There is now only one legal way to complete the classroom portion of the AHA Instructor course.

This is the traditional method where you attend and complete the classroom portion, and the instructor monitoring in a real classroom after completing the mandatory pre-course online training.

The online training takes about 4–6 hours and is required prior to attending the in-person instructor training.

AHA no longer allows this portion of the training to be done virtually under any circumstances.
