Hope for the Journey—Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed.”  I love this promise.  However, like all of God’s promises I have learned that I have a part to play in its fulfillment.  God always wants to come first in our lives.  He says in Exodus “you will NOT have any other gods before Me.”  Unfortunately, the world around us encourages us to put fun, pleasure, money, business, and all sorts of other things before God.  I have found that the key to seeing Proverbs 16:3 fulfilled in my life is to go to God first every morning and ask Him to take control of my wants, my desires, my schedule, even my chance encounters throughout the day.&...

Hope for the Journey--"For we are God's masterpiece.  He has created us anew in Christ Jesus"  Ephesians 2:10 NLT Did you get that?  You are God's masterpiece!  No matter what is happening in your life today, you can rest assured that when God looks at you He says, 'Wow, look at my masterpiece!'  No matter how many times you have made mistakes or bad choices, when God looks at you He sees the masterpiece that you can become with His help.  Deuteronomy 31:8 says "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you.  He will be with you; He will neither fail you or abandon you."  So dear friend, remember how much your Creator God loves .........
